Polylumber Furniture

Polylumber is made from high-density polyethylene or HDPE for short. The HDPE is formed from recycled consumer waste such as plastic bottles from water, milk, and detergent or other industrial plastics. This material is cleansed and decontaminated before undergoing a refining process. The finished product is pressed and compounded into a rigid board stock material; with the final product containing over 90% recycled plastic by weight. This amazing, sustainable product is then used for decking, furniture and other applications where wood is traditionally used. The benefits for the environment are simple: no trees are milled to create the furniture, the plastics are reused and therefore not left in landfills, and no chemicals are needed to clean or maintain your new furniture!

Pressure Treated Yellow Pine Furniture

Yellow Pine has long been hailed for its yellow color, durable nature, and lack of blemishes and hard to work around wood knots. Pine is easily worked and crafted into superior furniture that finishes very well. Known for its durable nature this wood is a natural choice for outdoor furniture; guaranteed to give beautiful, simple charm to your yard or garden.

We also offer several different Pressure Treated woods for our hand-crafted outdoor furniture. This process forces preservatives into the wood to help protect the furniture from attack by termites, wood-boring insects, and general fungal decay. Our pressure treated options will continue looking beautiful long after they've graced your home.

Birdhouses, Dog houses, and Lighthouses

The Amish have carried a long tradition of providing birdhouses for their feathered friends, primarily to utilize the birds as a natural pest control on their farms. Whether employing the birds to keep an eye out for insects or simply enjoying their song, the Amish create these birdhouses in a wide range of styles including: the wooden Martin house with a copper roof, the Wren house with copper roof, or the 12-hole Martin style made from aluminum. These traditional birdhouses are sure to give character to your yard and bring the bird’s song to your home.

We also carry a selection of wooden Lighthouses in a variety of sizes; perfect for indoor or outdoor decoration. And not excluding your furry friends we also carry traditional Amish-built doghouses, made with the same siding and roofing material used in homes for humans!
